How to make sure that your website installed sitemap?

    We have sitemap icon at the upper right of our website, but when i analyzed my website in godaddy's one time free seo trial, it said that the website has no XML sitemap, I don't understand, why is that?

    There are 2 different types of sitemaps. One is for the user (what you have) which is usually written with HTML

    and is linked to from your web pages.

    The other is for the search engines which is usually not visible to viewers (but it can be) and is written in XML.

    There are Two types of Sitemap, one Sitemap.html and second one Sitemap.xml

    1. Sitemap.html is for visitors to analyse all the pages of the website.
    2. sitemap.xml helps Google to index all the pages of the website.

    How to create sitemap.xml

    First of all open sitemap generator

    Submit your website url download sitempa.xml

    submit this sitemap in your server

    Than open your website like abc.com/sitemap.xml
