paypal is very useful payment options for webmasters but somtimes i use moneybookers and e-gold. this 3 payment system best for me. Regards, Mustafa
Agreed I have used only paypal only, so I cannot comment much on other payment options. But I have heard good things about 2CO too. As far as rate I would give 9 in 10 to PP
Depends on what country you are from but if you have paypal in your country I think that paypal is the best.
I use PayPal API processing and it has always worked perfectly. It's the cheapest and easiest payment processor to implement. I would definitely suggest it to anybody.
PayPal is the best I've come across although, as with any company, it has its flaws. I hope Google Checkout will go worldwide soon to prehaps make PayPal reduce its fees.
I see Google Checkout and it is nothing like Paypal. Paypal allows people to just send money using the email sent function apart from the Buy Now and Invoice method. Google Checkout is just a shopping cart which accepts credit card and pretty much like 2Checkout and the numerous 3rd party credit card payment processors out there so I am not sure what the fuss is all about. Why wait for it when a solution like this is already available worldwide. Your customers still needs a credit card to pay you via Google Checkout while in the case of Paypal, they do not need a credit card.
How ever by seeing these replays,I think PayPal stands first and Google Checkout stands second while compared with all other one.
I have been using Paypal since 2003 and have seen the good, the bad, and the ugly with this payment option. Still, it is one the easiest ways to do business with people. This past summer I started using Google Checkout and have been happy with their service. Like Paypal, you'll have to wait a few days before funds are deposited into your account, but you can often see those funds without fees being extracted if you use Google AdWords. As of this writing Google is promoting their payment service by waiving processing fees through the holiday season.
Paypal and 2checkout for us.Paypal is easy to use but the limit of fund withdrawal in paypal is limited which is a problem.
The problem with the PayPal is its limit of fund withdrawal. I think its maximum is just $150. But I dont know about the limits of google Checkout.
There aren't any to my knowledge. I would prefer to deal with customers who have a credit card as there is protection afforded by a credit card that Paypal does not have.
nah .. lol ... thats the minimum to withdraw but there are withdrawal limits on month basis depending whether the account is verified or not
2checkout is supposed to be pretty good. I suppose it depends upon your actual aim and the type of site you are doing?
Its amazing what u guys are talking, paypal, 2CO and authorise are completely different, 2CO is a 3 party REseller, Authorise is a merchant account and Paypal is everybody knows what it is. U cant compare apples with oranges and pineapples. If u compare Paypal with moneybookers then its no fault, both are same category. Storm pay was a good option, but i remember there were rumours or maybe reality that they have stopped their C2C transactions because of mastercard interference.
You should be meaning minimum Maximum is $500/month for unverified accounts. But you can always it by getting your account verified.
In which country do you live bccuzer? In India you only have to verify your account using credit card.In Canada you have to verify using credit card and bank account and also adress verfications. It depends on your country Saad
