Please recomend a PHP framework for a commercial product

    Hi All,

    Please help me to pick a right PHP framework/CMS to build a commercial product. Actullay, We planned to build a commercial product, where we want to use a framework/cms which(license) should allow us to develop commericial product & sell.

    For commercial use? Definitely Zend Framework. It's developed and maintained by Zend, a company that has huge involvement with the PHP language. It's has a "use at will" architecture which allows you to pick and choose components. It doesn't force you in to follow strict MVC standards but supports it. Personally, I believe it's the best framework out there. If I was going to build a PHP project with a framework for distribution I would use Zend.

    Thanks for your reply NetStar, here I want to stress one thing. We are going to develop a commercial product. And our final product licence would be: Not to redistribute & not for resale. Is it allowed when we use ZF?

    Might you want to check Yii & Symfony. They are from the top rated php frameworks.
