What are the chances on getting a YPN invite and is there anything you can do to boost your chances?

I did, I was just wondering if there was anything Yahoo was looking for that might help me get approved.

US Traffic is their primary concern. So if you have sites with these characteristics then you'll be fine.

I do, 2 of them are very popular, link wise as well as content. I wonder if it makes a difference that my server is in Canada?

more than likely, they are looking for prospective publishers to fill in gaps where they have advertisers and little to no publishers for a niche. i would think they are also looking for publishers whose sites will "convert" well for advertisers (however that is determined). I dont think they are as concerned with the amount of popularity a site has as they are with the "quality" of a site.

to boost your chances of acceptance, i would apply with different sites that cover a wide array of niches (if possible) and try to avoid sites that everyone else already has, as well as, site concepts who have already been terminated again and again (ie myspace).

they are terminating publishers regularly and i doubt they have a lack of publisher applications to choose from. at this point, if you really want to get in, your site has to give them a really good reason to let you in.

No idea. But I bet this wont affect if the site is hosted in Canada or USA. Based on what I've read about lots of post about YPN invite and base on experience their primary concern is traffic. I think you just have to wait few more days and you will get your YPN account. Keep us posted if you received your YPN invite already. Goodluck!

Hard to say. There is much speculation as to how long their process takes and the YPN! blog doesn't give much indication of when that could be either.

I have seen people wait for months before they get accepted. Don't waste your time waiting for them. It may take 3 months or more so concentrate on finding other ways of monetizing your site.
