I'm not a SEO expert and i know few basic things to optimize to my blog. I have only one blog and all my online revenue generated from it, but little earning . I have one year old own domain, and it has 3 words ( ex:- xxxx xxxx xxxx ) ( not a pron site ). However its not contain any keywords related to my niche. I have android phone relate post, all the post are apps review and how to guides, not include phone review. I have less than 350 posts. These months i have 1,000-1,500 daily visitors and 2,000-2,500 page preview. But the problem is my certain post that has keywords on its post title and first paragraph not comes Google first 50 results. There is no keyword stuffing. But some of them in the top 10 results. I have PR 4, and i got it last November, but its not changes until now. Moreover my Alexa rank increasing, but its a not rapid increases. Apart from that, Google panda hit my site last November but i recover 100% it in this January, but Google penguin update not affect me (still). Looks like still everything work fine, but the problem is certain post not comes to the first 30 or 50 result. I created many backlinks to those post and they are not new post, all of them more-than one week old. So if i purchase a new fresh keyword contain domain and use it as landing page domain and redirect older one to the new domain, my all the rank will be lost and i have to again optimize my site. Or if i get the keyword contain domain it will be a wise deal? and my ranking will be increase? I read somewhere in the internet that Google like old domain than new.. Some sites say that, if i have "The" word on root domain, it will indicate search engine spiders to "stop". Is it correct? If it correct it will affect my SEO? Are there anyway to redirect new domain to existing one, without affecting SEO or SERP? I can't hire a seo consulting company for ask this questions, because of there is no enough earning, that's why i ask it in here. Thanks!
that is not mandatory that your website should rank for most of the keywords and postings.., because there many brand owners who always update there websites with new and fresh content..., so competing them would be a huge deal.., if your content is fresh and new..., there is higher chance of getting ranked in SE for a while or a day.., in this period if you recieve popularity to your blog page.., then the pages can hold top positions in SE.., I don't think so its a good strategy to redirect your blog to a website, the reasons: 1. Good PR 2. Daily Visits more than 1000 3. Good domain age (its as easy as wine) if you are redirecting your blog or landing page to keyword rich domain by using only 301 permanent redirection rule.. then you will definitely get back all your ranking, link juice and pr in a couple of months.., hope this clarifies some of doubts..,
Thanks friend your support. I really appreciate it. I have another two question,Some site that doesn't have higher PR than me, and they have lower ranking on SEOMoz's "Open site explorer" but they rank well. They have rich keywords on their domain name for instance "android****.com" or "***Android.com". So why is that? Is it a result of the power of keyword domain? i read somewhere if i have "The" word in the root domain indicate stop word to search engine spiders, is it correct?
definitely, Google PR and SEOmoz Rank doesn't matters in ranking (SERP), as you said that your competitors have keyword rich domain.., this is the reason why your website is left behind.., its purely power of having keyword in domain.. i read somewhere if i have "The" word in the root domain indicate stop word to search engine spiders, is it correct? - I never come across this type of article or question til now.., i will try if i get some info upon this.., but if i think it logically, SE spiders don't stop of crawling your website.., for example thehindu.com (news website - famous in INDIA), thepiratebay.org (movie related website).., most of these websites are ranking with having 'THE" in the root domain..... let me know if you need any further info..,
Again thanks friend, So now i feel to get a new domain that has keywords. One thing i need to know, what is the best method in the following options? After i purchase new domain, should i redirect older domain to the new one using 301 permanent redirection? After i got new domain, should i keep it few months (6 to 12) separately and use the 301? ( i think Google like older domain than new) Some people say that Google determines the domain age by using crawling, so if i use 301 redirection it will cause any issue? Personally i believe Google like older domain than new, if i get the new domain what should i do? Just use 301 permanent redirection after the purchase or crate another new site and allow Google to crawl new site and after few months left use this 301?
See, either of the one you can choose, but if you redirect your old domain to new domain using 301 permanent rule.., all the metrics, all link juice, pr juice of the previous blog / website will be passed to this site...,but it doesn't happens immediately, google might take a couple of months to update its database with your new website and metrics.., so u need to have patience.., --->My question is Why you want to change Redirect your domain?
Thank friend support. My field, customization, modification, rooting guide has higher competitive, but some of my post not perform well in this situation. However new site that has keyword on the domain come Google top 10. If i can increase my customization, modification, rooting guide post ranking i can get more traffic. That's why i think like this.
Well, i'm here to help.., So, the reason is, some posts are not being ranked in top and high competitiveness you are in process to redirect your blog to a domain.., Does you have done the following things after posting in blog? 1. Submitting it to high Social Bookmarking Sites (Delicious, Digg, etc) 2. Does posted it in Social Media Sites (Facebook, twitter, pinterest, etc) 3. Did you promoted the page using Directory Submissions, Comment, forum to get traffic or visitors?
1. I do social bookmarking. After i publish new post i do it. These days i use PR 4 to PR 8. Such as "Digg, etc...." most of them are do-follow. I think i use 6 or 7 services. 2. Yes i do, but i use RSS Graffiti automated service for that ( FB, Twitter, G+). G+ manually. 3. I submitted few directories some of them are still pending, I think 20 of them are approved my site. But I'm not use commenting regularly, Yes i use forum posting.
