I have a good budget to advertise what is the best conversion rate

What is the most cost effective marketing campaign I can run? Where and what places? I am going to launch my website in 2-3 months and would like to have a campaign set when the website is ready to launch.

I will have anywhere from $3,000-$25,000 to market. Price varies under ceratin circumstances that need to transpire.

I only have experience with selling software. What type of product are you selling, or what is it that you are trying to advertise?

At very least, you should add your site to Google Webmaster Tools to get your free $100 AdWords and try that out. I received views and a few conversions from that. However, I find it difficult to make AdWords cost-effective unless you have a product or service which is also viral. If people are not telling their friends about your service it is difficult to receive more than you spend. That is only my experience though, and others may have an effective AdWords strategy that makes it cost-effective. My advice is to try it out. If it doesn't help you don't need to sink any money into it.

As the previous poster mentioned, we'd really need to know your niche to make a good recommendation. But Google Adwords has always been the highest converting and most cost effective PPC network I've used -- and I've played with a variety of different niches...

This really depends on the niche, but the best way to find out what converts best is to test between a variety of different ad networks and ad placements on sites.

I am making a website like groupon.com The difference is my site is charging only 4% of each deal compared to groupon charging 50%..... I will be also making the deals cheaper then groupon to also help the consumer. This will make people want to buy more deals since they are cheaper and business will want to go with me because they are making more money each deal Ex Buisness charges $100 for deal Groupon takes $50 out business only makes $50.... EasyNCheap "My Site" Business charges $75 per deal Customers gets the deal cheaper & the business makes more money.

I saw that someone recommended Adwords, but you should keep in mind that you will need to do research before you jump into any type of advertising. If you don't know how to use the advertising correctly, you could end up losing a lot of money without making any money. This is especially true when it comes to Adwords... So if you do decide to use adwords, make sure you read all the information you can find on advertising with Adwords. You should also keep in mind that you should be using multiple methods for driving traffic. You should never use just one type of advertising because it may not work well for what you are selling, or if you are using an advertising method that is working you should also understand that this could change overnight. So use muliple methods.

Are you trying to market to get more businesses or are you trying to market to get more people to take the deals? That should be the driving force of your marketing. It's best to work with facebook and twitter when it comes to marketing to people to take the deals. Then it's perfect to market to businesses using emails , cold calling and direct mail. Like Briantymes said "... Use multiple methods"

I would leave the adwords alone....google is shutting down marketers from left to right.

You can connect with your target market using facebook or other social media sites.

Also Seo is another way but it just takes to long to get index by the search engines.

So you can look to video marketing, press releases, connect with like minded individuals on forums
    etc

If you'll be marketing websites in the deal of the day niche, I would advice that you don't do that forever. It's can directly pull down the profits. A website like that is a marketing strategy in itself. To increase the visibility of the site, you may use social media advertisements and Google advertisement. But above all, you should invest in search engine optimization.

It really depends on your niche, google adwords is providing high conversion rate generally but facebook ads is very good if your targeting market is teens, such as game niche and entertainment niche

Beside Adwords I would also recommend coupon sites: retailmenot like and groupon like. Here is where your people are. The conversion might not be so big ... but you will get relevant links to your site that will help you rank well.

You absolutely can go wrong. I have lost a lot of money in adwords, along with more money
using various advertising methods; I advise not to do any paid advertising unless you know
what you are doing, because you can blow through it quickly with nothing to show for....
Start at the ground level, use free advertising, do keyword research, and if you blow my
advice off, then just send me a check now, because you will be pissing your money away,
but if you are just in experiment mode and have cash to flush (trial/error) then go for it...

Adwords don't work most of time, but really depend on your niche, i try adwords on digital product and performend parts, it work. but it doesn't work well on clothing and shoes, just my 2 cents

I'm also having the same questions here. I'm the self-help niche. You think $25,000 is enough or more than enough? Thanks
