I'm moving to Colorado Springs, Colorado this next year and as some of you know I've had problems due to some of the people I hang out with or are just friends with. Well, I would like to meet new people when I move that are also into things like business, preferably people already in business so could someone make suggestions about how I should go about meeting them?

Try hanging out at wine bars at lunch times ;)

Or more seriously, maybe take a few business courses at the local college.

I think that would be the best way for you to meet people. I’m currently studying and have meet a lot of people that also have the same interests as me.

Yeah definately agree with Deano and Emperor here. It's probably the only way to meet like-minded people who are going in a similar direction in life as you are hoping to... that's definately how I'd approach making new friends if I was to uproot myself.

you can hang out on bars and other places where they also hang out.

ask them questions or you can introduce yourself :) just be nice and you'll surely gain new friends :)

Maybe you could just meet people at the place you will be working at. That's always the best way to get connections to the industry and such.
