    Hi

I'm looking for a server with the following minimum specs:

    • [*]1GBPS port
      [*]1GBPS unmetered bandwidth
    • 8GB RAM
    • 8TB HDD
    • 99.9% uptime

If you're able to supply this please PM me.

    Thanks

What's your budget? A true 1gbps unmetered connection is going to run you about $800/mo. without the server.

Location is not important to me.
My budget is flexible but what your statement isn't necessarily true. I'm not necessarily looking for a 1GBPS dedicated connection but average speeds need to be around 500mbps

It's absolutely true. There is no way you are going to get a dedicated 1gbps connection for less than about $800/mo. with any decent provider.

If you're looking for a shared, unmetered connection, that's a completely different story, and you can get that for a considerably less price. That said, you're going to be sharing that connection with every server on the same switch, sometimes 8-10 or more, depending on the provider, all trying to utilize the 1gbps connection.

FDCservers.net would probably be able to fit your needs. They are pushing some crazy bandwidth these days.

Straight from FDC: 1Gbit Un-metered Service Plan: Each server is connected via private (non-shared) 1Gbit port to the FDC backbone shared by all servers subscribed to FDC’s un-metered service plans. The bandwidth is NOT dedicated.

Their shared gbit is $150/mo. which is pretty much right on par with any other provider. They don't offer dedicated 1gbit bandwidth.

its seem like the different between data transfer and bandwidth is confusing some web master here. As per mention before, 1GBPS bandwidth will be costly.

My goodness, I used to own a hosting company, check my thread history, I know what I am talking about!
I haven't actually told you my budget I said I was "flexible". So stop jumping to conclusions assuming that my budget is $200! Get a grip please.

I'm not sure if you're just bitter that you can't provide me with a solution or whether you're just s*** stirring, but either way please keep your thoughts to yourself, I have not asked for your input or opinion. If I wanted it I'd have asked. In reality I have asked for people to PM me if they can make me an offer.

+ vote for crookservers.com. There is far too much reliance on automated responses with some hosts but with them you get that personal touch with email replies from their support that are so fast it is almost unbelievable.
I trust them 100% with ALL my accounts. This is the only host I use. Try them, you won't be sorry.

Go to a few hosting review sites and read what people have said, there is a high chance that a host has written positive things about himself so you are looking for negative reviews because those will tell you the truth.
