Hi, I'm having some problems with my host. Few months ago I payed 10 € to renew my domain, but now it looks like my domain is expiried. Of course, I have contact my host but they don't response. So, My domain is sefanatics.com... Why I'm telling you this is that here ( http://www.enom.com/domains/whois.asp?DomainName=SEFANATICS.COM&submit.x=44&submit.y=8 ) is some wierd dates that shows that my domain should not be experied. I mean the dates end of that page... What is going on? Please help? Thanks!
Yeah its not available to purchase but I am seeing a landing page, is that yours? Did you get an invoice when you renewed the domain?
In the last instance you can contact your registrar service. I have seen problems with eNom, renewing domains via Registerfly that later appear as expired but the whois says they were renewed. Opening a support ticket and within the 24 following hours getting them back inside my control panel.
It actually has expired: http://www.iwhois.com/index.php?domain=sefanatics.com&tld=com&lookup=Lookup&clean=1 When a .com domain name expires, the .com Registry autorenews it for 1 year and bills the sponsoring registrar accordingly for it. The registrar has up to 45 days to secure renewal payment or do something to financially compensate. What makes this more complex is the domain name is managed by a reseller for an actual domain registrar. You better contact the host reseller first, then contact Enom if you've exhausted everything yet nothing fruitful happens. Good luck.
Thanks guys! My hosting company just doesn't seems to care because they don't contact me Maybe I will try to send some email to enom...
I always go with reputable hosting companies and seldom trust any others just incase. Sure, people can say I'm taking business away from smaller companies not trusting, but at the end of the day there is enough trusting people to build smaller businesses, I'm just not one of them
Actually, it's better to go with a real domain registrar to possibly lessen this kind of thing from happening. Registrars have more umph than resellers.
