A few weeks ago I wrote some original articles and posted them on my website.

A few days after, they appeared in google search

everything good until that point... but then some websites copied my articles word for word

and now when I search for a sentence in the article, it shows the OTHER websites, and my website shows only under results that have been OMITTED!

    what can i do

also how come google did not recognize that I had the articles first and that other websites copied from me

If some one copied content from you no problem to your website. The problem is to other who copied from your site.

There is no way Google can see who wrote an article first. They have other ranking scores which determine which websites are ommitted and which not. You should contact Google and complain with all your proof.

Did you share, +1 or bookmark your articles as soon as you posted them? There is a widespread belief that Google doesn't know whose content is the original, but I remember watching a Matt Cutts video, in which he said that they eventually figure out who owns the content. If you check website rankings and they don't go up in the next few days, try filing a DMCA complaint with the guys who stole your content.

Make sure each of the original articles you post have a publish date. Then run a sitemap generator that puts a time stamp on it. Thats really all you can do to combat copy theft.

Some websites post stolen articles with older dates, even worst, most autoblogging software allows content stealers to post articles backdated so that search engines think they were the first ones to publish the content. This is something really sad, and there's little to be done. I have seen sites with very recent news but the post date is 3 or 4 years old. My guess is that they even use false dates on the sitemaps to confuse search engines.

you can have tag with rel="author" and as soon as you post content.., submit it to all the major Social Bookmark Websites, share it on Facebook, Google+, twitter.., so that google crawls your content first.. and gives some authoritativeness to your content...,
