    Guys read.

    1. • • • AdA • • • isnt a webmaster, so he wouldnt understand you and you may not understand him
    2. he has red rep... OH, i wonder why? Lack of understanding here is to blame.
    3. It doesnt matter who stole what or what stole what, someone stole icons in an attempt to sell them for a profit without the consent of creator, • • • AdA • • •.

He is banned, now you take out your anger on • • • AdA • • •? Not fair.

    Just my 2c.

    Rob

Ada is a webmaster by virtue of owning a website - blogs are websites, they just run a particular type of script. Not all webmasters understand the legal issues around their sites or treat it as a business. However there are some tenets of business (and a graphics person should be well aware of this) that you don't use purple to advertise chocolate, yellow in directories, the harrods font on your storefront. Equally you have to be careful with how you use another companies trademark in your work. We know McDonalds are going to have a fit over the masturbate tshirt and it remains to be seen if they'll have enough sense to let it ride. Equally Apple shouldn't mind that you have their logo on your buttons, it's a bit of flattery, but they might and legally they may have the right.
Did they steal, or did they take. I don't think Ada has clarified the conditions on which the icons were availble for download - royalty free - GPL - creative commons etc.
The only anger that might be attributed to Ada is for expecting a forum to tackle her legal problems.
