My company has major 7 kinds of products, but the keywords are not just 7, since every major products can be divided into another 3 or 4 categories, and single english words have single and plural forms, therefore, i am very confused that how should decide the keywords for our website.Any opinions?
I am totally agree with "richardfranklin" First you need to select some of your targeted keywords which are exact match with your company's product. Then you need to divide them into Long tail and short tail, and key phrases. For key phrases you can add "of", for, to, etc. Just because it looks like organic.
Product doesn't matter at all, a website may have many services and offers. You should target firstly using long tail keywords. semrush keyword tool will help you. Apart from you should target your 60 percent brand keywords like yousite dot com www dot yoursite com etc and rest 40 percent would be your target keywords.
its upto you how long content you are using in your website and inner pages. 1 to 2 keywords should be good. use synonyms for the keywords. so that you will away from google panda effect.
Hi I recently received an article which focuses on more than one keyword phrase and I am concerned about the 4 keyword phrases it was optimized for. I am giving an example to make my question become as clear as possible Example: Lets say the article was about a car and it's make was a BMW, and some of the used keyword phrases were German car, BMW 5 series, BMW 7 series, car doors, tyres, & mirrors. The article length was 400 words in total. Would it be okay to mention each of the stated keyword phrases [German car, BMW 5 series, BMW 7 series, car doors, tyres, & mirrors] 3 to 4 times each throughout the article? OR, would it be better to specifically talk about a certain series of the BMW for example BMW 5 series and use different variations for example (bmw's 5 series is a very fast car, one of the fastest cars i've ever driven is a BMW 5 series, my preferred BMW series is the 5 series etc...) and sprinkle them out a total of 3 times each variation? Thanks, N.R
There is no limit to the amount of keywords you can use for a website. Concentrate more on the pages of the site and use 2-3 main key phrases for each page.Try to use variations of the same phrase as search engines are now adept at recognizing synonyms. Never spam the page though and try to stick to one main key phrase in the title tag of each page.
It really depends on how much work that you want to put into a website. With each keyword phrase you will need to build backlinks for that phrase. The only limit is the one that you place on yourself.
