Domain name .org transferred without authorization. What can I do ?

    Hi !

Two of my domain names were transferred, without my authorisation, 2 days ago to another account at my registrar and now they are hosted by someone with the address .

The registrar says that he sold the business to someone else, but his email address as the contact info on the email I received when the domain has been transferred.

I also should mentioned that the same guy did not want to give me the EPP code like 2 weeks ago- so I could transffer my domain name to other registrar.

Now - what can i do ? Please advise.

Both domain names were functional, had a website for some time and were bought here at DP.

Thanks to anyone that can give a usefull advice !

The first place where the domains were held was eyesoft.myorderbox.com ( actually they were pushed to me by the seller). The contact for that service says that he has sold his business to someone else.
Apparantly, he is a reseller of pindomains.com .. However , no email contact works for pindomains :-((
Is Doster the main registrar ?

If the domain names are still within the same registrar, call them ASAP. Ask to
speak to higher-up if need be, but get them to investigate and possibly lock
    'em up.

Good luck. Proving theft usually isn't easy.

I don't know if they are still with the same registrar.
The registrat was eyesoft.myorderbox.com ( I found in one of the first email that they said they were affiliates of DirectI) and now they are hosted at mydomains.com.
I completed the abuse forms at Dotster, DirectI and mydomains.com. No answer yet.

But I know who did it - It was just the guy who sold the sites to me. You may see at buy-rimonabant-acomplia.org ( that is one of the websites). He just changed the adsense code and the links to the stores, but he put the his old links ( I have the original site that he send to me ) - so l know that he's the one.
I will tell you the whole story here, but I want to contact first the DP admins not to make any mistake.
Thanks everyone for your advices ! If you have some more, please let me know.

Now I can give you the full story (kind of long one - but you might learn something) :

    I bought 2 websites here - http://forums.digitalpoint.com/showt...=147901&page=2 on 29 September 2006 - from seoindiaweb.
The transaction went good and he gave me the content of the 2 websites - rimonabant-acomplia-treatment.org and buy-rimonabant-acomplia.org and he pushed me the domain names at his business - http://eyesoft.myorderbox.com

After 2 weeks I've asked him to give me the EPP code so I could transfer the domain names. He said he will try to get it from pindomains.com, but he didn't provide it until now.

Four days ago, my domain names were transferred automatically, without my authorization, to another customer on the same registrar :
    New Customer Details
    Name: Online Pharmacy
    Company: Online
    Address: Pharmacy
    City: Bay Area
    State: California
    Country: US
    Email:
    Tel: +1.5308422584
Of course - just bogus info.

I contacted the first seller (seoindiaweb) right away, but he just claims that he sold that business to another guy - energetic from DP ( he told me that only today), even though his email is still the only contact for eyesoft.myorderbox.com . I PMed energetic, but no answer yet.

Now, just 2 days after, the domain is hosted at mydomains.com with the contact email ( that does not work!). Starting yesterday the website was online again - with almost the same structure as it was hosted at my website, but with the changed links to the affiliate account of some online stores and the Adsense code.
But the Adsense code and the referral links are EXACTLY the same as in the version of the site that I have bought.
So - now for me is very clear - he just got back his domain and put up his old links. I hope I am wrong, but don't see why.
I talked to him today and he claims that he is out of any online business and he didn't do anything in this case and that he will try to help me. No result yet.

I have started to try to get back my domain names, because they were taken without my authorization and I also opened a thread to get help for any members -http://forums.digitalpoint.com/showthread.php?t=181054

No answers yet from any of the registrars that I have contacted during the weekend.

I still am wondering how can 2 domain names get out from your account, without your authorizations. The domains were not locked, because I was waiting for the EPP code the transfer them.
Maybe this will be at least a lesson for others.

It's not the issue of losing money (it happends in business), but the feeling these days is just awful.

    Regards

Transferring domain names within and to another registrar are 2 different
things. The latter does require EPP codes, the former doesn't necessarily.

Some registrars don't see the need of adding extra steps when transferring a
domain name among accounts registered in their systems. And ICANN hasn't
    covered that aspect extensively.
