Hello guys I have a website with page rank 1 http://www.bigcommercestation.com and a good position in google with the keyword "free online jobs". But from yesterday I have lost my rankings. The changes that I have done yesterday are: 1. Added google analytic code to my website 2.Published an article http://www.bigcommercestation.com/i...jobs/copy-and-paste-free-online-jobs-in-india 3.Build some 50 backlinks in some of the indian sites and forums (natural and legal- no spam) These are the three changes that I have done yesterday and I have lost my rankings. Please try to help me by solving the issue. Thank you!
This is probably your problem. (I don't mean these links specifically, but if in general this is what you do - build them yourself. Links you've previously built could have been devalued, hence a drop in rank.) If you built them, how are they "natural"? I think Danny Sullivan pretty much well summed it up recently: Earn links. See, if you hadn't built those links yourself, your rank would have probably remained. On the other hand, it could be due to how you were checking your rank. Which country were you ranking on the first page for? Did you check your rank using incognito/private mode of your chosen browser? Otherwise, how were you checking each time?
I think it is not possible to see the results almost instantly, maybe that's your real site rank since days/weeks/months ago but just updated yesterday, also if your site is new, it may because of google dance (rank up / down but got back to normal soon after). I believe legal backlinking can't really hurt your site, so you need to be patient to see the results.
I have built these backlinks myself. I make forum backlinks, blog commenting and article submission. This is not a spammy process.
You're clearly missing the point (let's even pretend for a moment what you did isn't spam). Did you even read that article, Google's webmaster guidelines or about Panda and Penguin updates? Clearly not and clearly need to.
By searching Google. It's the first result: http://support.google.com/webmasters/bin/answer.py?hl=en&answer=35769&topic=1724121&ctx=topic You should check their academy: http://support.google.com/webmasters/bin/static.py?hl=en&page=checklist.cs&tab=1095542 Panda and Penguin: http://searchengineland.com/library/google/google-panda-update http://searchengineland.com/library/google/google-penguin-update Learn actual SEO: http://www.seomoz.org/beginners-guide-to-seo (A starting point, their site contains lots of good blog entries on how to get visitors through "whitehat" methods.) If you read the first article I provided you with a link to, you'll understand why you probably aren't ranking now. The information available on the others will help you understand what Google looks for (positives and negatives) and how to rank.
first thing you gotta do is remove google analytics code and write a good content and build backlinks slowly
Are you serious? SHould I really remove google analytic code? I think it has nothing to do it rankings.
They are a paranoid tinfoilhat. There's no reason to remove Google Analytics. Rand Fishkin covered it in a Whiteboard Friday: http://www.seomoz.org/blog/10-myths-that-scare-seos-but-shouldnt-whiteboard-friday Matt Cutts (allegedly) recently stated it isn't: http://www.webpronews.com/matt-cutts-google-doesnt-use-bounce-rate-2012-06 A transcript of Matt Cutts stating it isn't used: http://searchengineland.com/live-blog-you-a-with-matt-cutts-at-smx-advanced-123513 It's also not for the first time that Google have stated it's not used, but tinfoilhats keep believing and perpetuating this (and other) myths.
Well I guess for tracking websites but do you honestly think google dont monitor analytics and possibily use it as ranking factor?
