Just was thinking, if your competitor is very tough to outrank, why not to "black hat" their website, while you only remain "white-hatted" with your website! You can buy them lots of rubbish back-links, and spam websites with their links, and let Mr. G00gle do the rest for you!! Just a silly thought, what do you think?
well, that does not negate the idea in the first place! Is it an effective way or not? I am just wondering if someone does this, why will G00gle penalize the victim? That's totally unfair.
Dont you think the particular website owner can send an email to Google regarding this and get it fixed, at the same time track your IP and block it on major websites, so that you will not be able to post anything then.
Methods like this just empty time spending. Your position not always depends on amount of money spent on links. Develop your site, make it more interesting and useful.
This has happened to many well-established websites. They find out that they're receiving large amounts of traffic, etc. Only to discover that someone has tried to screw them over. This is not the way to go. They've worked hard on their content and their traffic so it's just not ethical to sabotage competitors. In fact, they are present so that we can learn from them.
Hey guys! I know this is unethical, and I am in no way do this to anyone. I am just presenting this issue for discussion purpose only. How can they track back my IP? Or how can they know in the first place it is me?? As for Google fixing their website, that is almost a dream to those who really know Google!
