Namepros Server Died

How long has the server been down? Anyone else noticed that Namepros is down?

 

I noticed namepros is down too...

It was working great last night, however from this morning till now (5:30PM) it's been down. It says the server died and they're changing to a new server, so I guess we just have to wait

 

RJ's got a message up saying no data was lost, so no worries for users I guess.

 

I am getting insane from last 14 hours. Saw the message today morning.

But the message says nothing was lost. So atleast the data is safe.

Lets hope it gets online soon. I can't imagine living without this forums.

 

Looks like it's just a server switch. Nonetheless, it's got me posting at other forums such as this one now.

I haven't seen NP go down before though, so I wonder what happened? There are much better ways to move servers, and there wasn't much warning, so I suspect that it may have been something sudden that came up.

NamePros is great...was wondering why they were down all day.

 

It's been down since this morning.
Hopefully they'll be back up by tomorrow.

 

Yeah, Namepro's has been down for me for more than 14 hours for me. I figured that it may be a server switch or something to the affect. Especially since I wasn't even getting info to my email form posts.

But thats a good thing that nothing was lost. I am sure things will be up as soon as possible. Hopefull before tomorrow morning.

 

We are working as best as we can to get the server back up. I have been talking to RJ and he is doing his best. It went down just around 7am EST time. Hold tight, we are trying to get NP up as soon as we can.

Is it possibly got hacked by someone like dnforum or what?

 

There was no data loss, so it wasn't likely hacked.

 

Just try to think of what the internet would be like if GoDaddy died, and all domains registered there...could not be accessed!!! Or even more crazy, it made every domain registered through GoDaddy become un-registered!!! I see internet chaos!!!
