I think G should change or update his TOS to make this blending or graph next to the graph clearer.

Yea, though I don't have adsense yet, I've been reading a lot about it. I also thought that the pictures were okay aslong as there was a border around the picture.

Yes thats right, i too thought it was okay to add pics with borders round it. Do you have a sample of what you did, atleast we can see why google alerted you.

Many people use pictures near ads.
Would you mind posting a screenshot ?

    What did they say ?
    Are you banned ?

You're not allowed more than 1 account.

If you are asking this, you aren't pretty common with adsense TOS, so maybe you even didn't read it about using images next to ads. ;)

If there is a border for the picture then its not against their TOS

Before you do it publicly, you should make a one page example of how you want it and E-mail them asking if it's OK and leting them know the page isn't a public page. And if they say yes, save the E-Mail!!!!

I have received an email as well, and so did my buddy

We both had the same exact emails , sent at the same exact time,

The only difference was his domain was in his and my domain was in mine

It looks like they actually have a bot that is sending emails , they crawl your site , then a bot will send you the email

Thats what it seems like to me

When I put my images next to my ads, I took a screenshot and emailed it to google to confirm. It is always best to check first.

This is so stupid, both of us (sundaybrew) got the same e-mail about similar sites at the same time about images next to ads meanwhile there are tons of others doing the exact same thing. I even have e-mails from Adsense telling me that the site was fine.

The e-mail said my ads will be disabled for the site but what do you know, ads are still running AND I wasn't getting paid for them so they have been temporarily removed.

Someone over at Google needs to pull the plug on that bot that's running rampant, educate the staff on ONE policy and keep it the same across the board.

I took those frigging pictures off a long time ago.

    Why?

    1) They look stupid. And even sort of desperate
    2) Google warned me
    3) I got SmartPriced VICIOUSLY - it didn't improve until I had the pics removed for a few weeks

I'll never put them back up, and count that as one LOUSY trick that might just get your ass in real trouble. JMHO :)
