    Hi,

I need some help to know how much time (3..4..5..6..months or more) it generally takes to rank about 20 key phrases if:

    1. The keywords target US Google search
    2. The local US search volume for all the 20 keywords is between 1000 to 1500
    3. The industry is garments industry
    4. Key phrases are all 3 to 4 words like for example, top garment shop (3 words) or local top garment shop (4 words)
    5. Key phrase has been used in the Page Title as well as in the Meta Description, it is the H1 tag on the page and the same key phrase appears at least twice in the page content
    6. Back links are being generated at the rate of 2 per week from different places such as article submissions, directory submissions, bookmarking, etc.

Awaiting some advice based on given details.

    Thanks

Keywords will rank on Top 5 within 3 months for that type of keywords. There are lot of things in SEO, maximum people think that article, directories and some other are the major activities in SEO but they are wrong there are some other which are very important for getting high ranking...

The keywords sounds to be easier, but just 2 links in a week is not going to work out, as its too less. Normally build around 100 or 150 links per week and it is the best numbers. Also, target all the keywords within these links, so that you can get all the keywords ranked.

Thanks for your reply but also tell how much time it would take to rank these 20 keywords if I build 150 back links per week as you mentioned.

As your keywords are not that competitive, you must just take a maximum time of 2-3 months. This is possible if the links you build are of good quality, I mean, from good reputed sites.

How many backlinks you need depends on your competition. Keep doing what you are doing and you should see some good results in a few months. Adding 150 backlinks a week is not good SEO. Those are not quality links and they will probably need to be purchased, which is a no-no according to Google. With low competitive keywords the most important factor is your content. It sounds like you have optimized well. Just wait a few months now.

Hi, good question, however, I think it is highly unlikely that anyone could really answer that question, well - honestly anyway. There are too many variables that go into play. Even though you listed a lot of info. there is still too much of the x factor (unknown) Good content and PPC to get the word out
