Ok, the site I am working on is Vietnamese Adventure. Things I am doing/have done: Daily unique content submitted to major SEs limited backlinks (these defiantely need work) directory submissions using smart urls in wordpress using the "SEO title tag" plugin It would be better if it wasn't on a subdomain, but it is, and I don't want to move it. Thats about it I think. Any tips? Is it too early? It's been up for less than a month..
Its early days yet, just keeping adding that content and you should start seeing an increase of traffic coming from Google.
Improve your link popularity. Gather related links and make sure that you will add quality links to your site. It is not abount the quantity but the quality of site linking to you. Try to make articles and submit it to article directories, it might also help you. And make some press release and also submit it to press release directories. And continue your content improvement.
I haven't seen too many Vietnam related sites which is too bad as the country has changed dramatically over the decades. President Bush was recently there so maybe you can pick up some links to articles about his visit as well as to Vietnamese-American culture which could be helpful.
Just keep doing what you have done in your list. And you'll be fine in the next coming weeks or months.
1. Post more on forums 2. Create feeds and submit them to feed directories 3. Create articles and submit them to the top article directories.
It does happen @thedark. There are times Google look at a page like a lady wearing skirt in high red heels.
It does happened sometimes though surely it'll change after sometime. I agree that patience is a key to success. Continue what your doing. Good Luck.
I guess these things take time.. My rankings seem to be fluctuating wildly. I actually got on the front page of Google, but only for a few minutes, and it was a pretty obscure phrase (only 20,000 results). Anyway, hopefully it'll get there. Thanks for all the tips so far
