I want to share the tips here:

-Write the better content
-Do website audit to determine problem areas
-Remove links from blogrolls
-Make sure links anchor text is more natural
-Increase quality links into pages
-Scale back internal link anchor text
-Add more social elements, i.e. Google+, Pininterest Sharing

Very good list, I have also been doing for offsite backlinking powerpoints, pdfs' and web 2.0 creation targeting different kw's.

 

Does removing blogroll links means i need to remove all the links I have in my blogroll which was made for a three way link exchange?

 

Thanks for the update. In conclusion to your suggestions I want to share that just do quality SEO activities for optimization. If you are doing SEO do it for users not for crawlers. Also if you are doing directory submission or social bookmarking submission don;t forget to check website's reputation. It's PR, IP and last but not the list that the site you are using for submission is indexed in search engine or not.

Exactly. People have been getting away with poorly written content for way too long now. It was only a matter of time before Google decided to act.

 

I runs a news blog, and my posts are getting indexed very late like 2-3 days after published. Is it penguin or Panda that dalay my indexing?

 

Good list but i think that now from 24-April'12 Google really get more aware about backlink. And one thing I like to add is that do not make post in bulk quantity...

 

Use Social networking sites and always involve with you visitors by replying their comments.

 

Just use the domain name and you will be safe, using keyword for your blogroll is very dangerous (Google Penguin).

I believe high quality articles and social signals are the main focus here, I've been getting steady results when adding the articles without worrying about keyword density, font size ect. and sending a group of people to talk about my website on social networks. Some social bookmarks have further boosted this.

 

Adding social media buttons helps a lot to recover from the penguin updates. Also, writing a better content is very important.
