Ranking Drop Because of Site Downtime??

Hi friends, I hope you all are doing great. I am bit confused with my site ranking nowadays. My site was down for around 50 hours. Is there any possibility of ranking drop because of site downtime. I had shown 503 error while site was down. I lost around 40% of my traffic now.Please reply if anyone have practical experience regarding this.Thanks in advance..

 

Hey friend, You are absolutely right. Your ranking is definitely going down due to your site's downtime. If you want to get good traffic then remove your site's errors. So ,that you can get back your traffic and rank also.

 

I have fixed server errors and still i am lacking with ranking and traffic. Is there any technique to recover faster?

 

Your rankings should recover if it was a result of hosting downtime.

 

I think your site effected with Google Penguin that is why ranking suddenly down. It was updated in the ending of last month but you don’t worry if you have done a quality link building and your content is original then ranking get back again in the same position.

 

How much time it may take to recover. Any Idea?

 

If the ranks dropped due to downtime, it will recover on its own within a few days.
