Yeah so I just created my first ever debit card recently, and want to pay online using the money in it + the money in my paypal account. Unfortunately the transaction cannot go through because it said it didnt match the info on my paypal account..which makes me remembered that they might choose the address that I put a fake name on. When I first started paypal I didnt trust them so I put a fake name. Tried to change it but I can't...I tried to change the home address, but it won't work if the fake name is still there...then tried to confirm my card, thought it's simple but apparently you have to wait for a statement to arrive in your home. So I'm going to uni on the 26th, I'm pretty sure if the statement did arrive it will arrive AFTER I'm gone, my parents gonna read it and I'm gonna be soooo busted (well it's my own account but my parents put the money in it). It said checking online is fine but I have no idea how to do that. So if, IF I ever manage to verify my card, will the limit account go away? Because, idk what paypal is thinking, but there's no instruction AT ALL on how to resolve this. Here is a print screen of what paypal want from me : No 2 it said, complete the steps listed on this page to initiate a review of the limitations. BUT WHERE THE HELL ARE THE STEPS????? I tried clicking resolve but all I get is This system is unavailable at this time. Please try again later. Been trying since yesterday to no avail. Please help!! The item I want to buy will be released on June 6th so I need to preorder like RIGHT NOW coz will be going to uni in 2 DAYS. Not to mention I'm scared to death that my parents might know what I'm doing.
Since nothing is happening after clicking Resolve in Resolution center, its better to give them a call right now. They will be able to help you and should solve your problem instantly.
TO solve your problem you will have to. You can also use their Skype numbers to call them for FREE. Search for it and you will get it in this forum or google.
Imho, I had the same problem as you and couldn't find a working solution untill I called them. Putting tickets up will only make you wait countless days and with no real result. Do something and call them
Well I call them..and the lady in charge said she's gonna assist me in the limited account instruction but the page is still like that, no instruction at all.. >< Does this takes time? Or should I call them again?

It is easy to check your credit card statement online. Just go to the credit card website, register and Log in. If the transaction is completed you will be able to find the code under unbilled transactions...or just call them up and ask.
My paypal had been limited suddenly. I used to send emails everyday to paypal. It really helped me and the limitations removed. My advice: dont give up and contact paypal continuously, explain your problem. They will surely help you.
Okay the limitation is removed finally after I call them the 2nd time..it's more convenient this time around. But the problem is I can't use my card after entering wrong code for a few times...how can I use that card again? I only have that card Also I can't find the code to verify...Damn it why is it so freaking hard to use paypal
I wondering how come you can enter the code wrong for few times. if this is the case, i suggest you to change the card (just go to the bank say your bank is damage and wanna get a new card). As i can see you are from Malaysia, suggest get a debit card from public bank, you can get the code by checking online, other bank you might need to go to the bank and ask for the bank statement (not all the bank provide statement automatically for the debit card user)
Ok this is soooo great, paypal limited my account AGAIN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I think it has something to do with me using a proxy software to log in. It need me to confirm my card which in this case my account is not currently linked to any card since my previous card got banned so I have to call them AGAIN!!! THIS IS SO FUCKING FRUSTRATING!!!! There's a number when I print the slip (turns out it's the atm machine number or something). Then I got so damn frustrated I just put in number whatever, didnt know there's a limit to how many I can enter the code. No, I can only use Bank Islam debit card..is there no way to check? Or is there other way to verify my card without the code? Like I just scan it or something? It's official, paypal sucks. I can't, I go to the website and click everything, but the page doesnt load, I have no idea why. Tried it a few times already. If I add a bank account, do they need anything else to verify it like another code or something?
yes, paypal do not allow proxy, if you using proxy login into your account, there may a chance limit your account
there are many type of debit card. Paypal only accept those debit card with VISA/Master logo, if your bank islam debit card is the latest version which has the VISA logo, then it can be used for verification. However, you need to go to the bank customer service ask for the bank statement or the paypal code

Adding bank account is not enough for the verification, You need either credit card or debit card to verify your paypal. If your debit card has VISA logo, then you can use it to verify your account. The paypal will send you the code after you add the debit card. The code can be found at your bank statement. You need to key in to code to complete the verification If your bank doesnt provide the bank statement, you need to go to the bank to ask for the bank statement
