    Hi:
I want to send a newsletter to some addressees in Yahoo mail. Each addressee only see his address in the To field.
If I use BCC, I have to add a valid email address to the To field. Then every addressee will see I am sending this newsletter to this email address instead of his/her own address. They will think it is wierd.
I did see some people send a newsletter to many people with each of them see his/her own address on the To field.
So how can I do this?

    Thanks
    Leon

The way we do it, is actually send a different e-mail to each address. And that's the way most newsletters work.

This way each person gets an e-mail, and it's addressed to THEM. Additionally, you can often add extra stuff like personalizing the message body for each individual recipient. This isn't possible, of course, if you're sending the same e-mail to every single person.

I have to STRONGLY advise against that. Every single recipient sees the entire list of addresses.

I personally only think that should be used when everyone in a small group knows each other - and even then, you can still CC/BCC.

    BAD BAD BAD.

dont think then there is any way to do same in " yahoomail " ... you have to send email one by one .(assuming that you donot want to use any proffesional software or service, thats why you specifically asked for yahoomail)

For now, I only want to send the same email to all recipients.
So is there a way do what I said in my very first posting in Yahoo mail?

If I have to, as you described, send email to each recipients, can I automate this process? Potentially it could be too many recipients to send email one by one.

    Thanks again for advice.

I provided a link to our software which can do what you want and will be able to grow as you find you want or need added functionality. The link again is:

There is no "newsletter" type function in Yahoo! mail that I am aware of, but I highly doubt there is anyways.

Based on how I am interpreting what you want, the multiple To: as well as CC/BCC wouldn't work out.

So I think you will need to use an external solution. Not that it's a terrible bad thing, anyways.

Apart from our software, there is others too. There are even some free solutions, but in my personal opinion can be too cumbersome unless someone knows exactly what they are doing. Having been the most experienced with our own though, I think its very easy to use :) If you have any questions, feel free to shoot me a PM!
