In 1967 the Philco-Ford Corporation released a short documentary-tech film titled 1999 A.D which was a production showcasing future technologies and concepts. What stands out is the accuracy it portrays regarding the consumer Internet = instant messaging/emailing !! These guys truly had great foresight and where ahead of their time! enjoy! wow, thats kind of like ancient egyptian times, they could build pyramids, mummify somebody, and that was what? hundreds of years ago? and yet, it was on the news not so long ago, last year i think, that we are trying to mummify somebody now? but this internet things is amazing, they knew exactly what was going to happen, before it had even happened....
very true!! apart from maybe my post.. lol but the OPS post, thats all very true... they on the other hand included videos through the screens "webcam" but they missed out the microphones ...
Knew what would happen before it happened almost as if it was preordained, eh? Wait...pyramids and mummies hundreds of years ago? You mean multiple thousands of years ago, right? On a time line, Cleopatra lived closer to the first US moon landing than the building of the pyramids. The pyramids are THAT old. In fact, legend has it that there was a global spanning civilization before 11,000 BC and the legend was inscribed on two columns in a subterranean vault made of an exotic metal that could withstand direct cannonball fire and would shatter the cannonball. History is way more fascinating than anything in school curriculums.
You know what i meant by my post though, i was simply stating that people predict things, and other people make them come true.. apart from the egyptians they did it, and somewhere along the line everything was forgotten, and we are having to try and re learn it all... that was simply all i meant.
Forgotten, no. Locked away, yes. The public is relearning, but some people have had the knowledge for millenia. The library of Alexandria may have burned, but the original scrolls did not. And someone has those old manuscripts of steam engine designs that the Romans built, or the batteries found in babylon. You didn't understand my post. No one predicts anything. They either imagine it originally, or give a wink-wink as to what is already being developed. Ecclesiastes 1:9. "What has been will be again, what has been done will be done again; there is nothing new under the sun."
