My friends are dedicated in online shopping B2C websites for the US and European markets. I wonder if you will buy something from China based websites that are directly shipping to you from China. The products are cheaper but the shipping time may be longer, about 7 to 14 days to your door. What's your choice?
The trouble is Chine is well known for producing so many fakes it has infact given it a bad reputation,so the answer would be no for direct sales, the big brand names do get most of its products produced in china due to the cheap production cost most people are aware of this but the are better known as i have mentioned before for fakes, copies call them what you like but most are not originals.
yes...but it depends on what products you're planning to purchase. i've been buying products from China and HK and it takes 30-40 days before the goods arrive in my door.
Products cover clothing, small decors, hair accessories, phone accessories, fashion accessories and so on.
for me, accessories doesn't need to be branded so there's no stopping me in buying them from China as long as the quality is good.
Yes, the largest concern is quality. So you need to have a system to address that. I bought some things from aliexpress, 3 out of 4 items are not as good as it seems.
Yes, Aliexpress is a Small-Scale Wholesale source, but the providers from CHina are not always qualified. IF I want to do B2C, I aim to launch very good products to the world, with not only PRICE, but QUALITY.
Considering the fact that Alibaba is buying back a lot of their shares and are focusing on creating more quality and stability, I'm definitely looking into it.
if i were you i will not buy products from china. they are known to be a production of quantity not quality.
Why would I ever sell something to someone I wouldn't use myself? I would absolutely use Alibaba and other Chinese sources to sell to end users and B2B, but if I can find a good deal of something I want there, of course I'll buy it if the quality is good! Frankly, aside from Chinese manufacturing getting over the hurdle of their stigma as a provider of low quality goods, what keeps me from sourcing from China more is freight charges, long shipping times, customs, and uncertain shipping conditions. I figure this will all change in the very near future.
yes, i did purchase product from China, and i will say the product quality is not that good. However, by comparing the price, we cant really expect too much.
