    I prefer forum posting, but you have to post in the right forum with the right threads. And you have to stick to it. Signatures in forums are something you should make use of. Social bookmark could also be useful, to be short, make use of every resource you could reach.

    Social Bookmarks. Hands down.

    Mass forum profiles and sig links, considering most are nofollow, do pretty much nothing except increase link diversity. Your rank or PR won't increase, but you might cloak your other links in a mess of forum links.

    But, seriously, it's all about interacting with other people online now, and that means being Social.
