Is it good to use google Webmaster tool to get my site indexed ???

Hi guys. I thinking about this couple days and cannot answer it myself. So do you think it is better to add new site to webmaster tools and moreless force google to index your new site or wait until google naturally find new website ? Does it affect ranking then ? My experience is that when i submitted new site to webmaster tools it got indexed in couple hours but not sure if it could get better ranking in case google foud it by self.

I would stay away from webmaster tools and analytics, google will just use it against you in the end, it took about 3 days to remove all the google crap from all my sites, better to use bing or yahoo webmaster tools.

 

It better to get google webmaster tools while it help lot in your SEO . You might need to submit your sitemap in Google Webmaster to index your page faster .
In the same time , Google Webmaster to give you lot of recommendation to help you improve your SEO like meta tag , speed of the site load, keywords density and so on .

Thanx I will be careful with them - specially because I have a lot of sites so I don't need Google to know that all of them are my .-) unless they find out other way of course.

 

Using the webmaster account (by adding sitemap) may help in fasten the indexing process or your site. It may not have any effect on the SERPs.

 

Once you get it indexed, you won't need it anymore. It will NOT help you get a faster indexing of your next article (if you are using blogger/wordpress!)... It could help you only before you get your site indexed for first time!

 

It is better to use google webmaster tools. For getting indexed a new website it is the right method. Also submit your xml sitemap so that google bot gets a clear idea about your web pages..

 

If I were publishing a new site, yes, I would submit a sitemap.xml to Google Webmaster Tools. Of course you will also want to get links to your new site from other websites.

I submit to GWT a new sitemap.xml every time I add a new page. I also have a Google Custom Search box on my three main pages, and I submit every new page's URL also to the indexing feature in Google Custom Search.

 

The less information you give Google the safer you will be, google collects a lot of info about each website, who knows how much information they collect on people too.

 

Unless your planning on building a spammy link profile then i don't think it should really matter if you use the Google webmaster tool.

I think using webmaster tool helps your website to index faster. But you should not submit more than 20 sites
