Hello Guys, I am seriously fed up of google PR updates... i just tried to start buying high pr domains and just after 2 days my all domain pr dropped and i got a big loss...Can any one tell me how frequent Google update PR's ...Some says after every 3 months but i seriously dont think so .As i got 2 times updates within a 10 days. Please help Thanks
Pagerank is shown in the Google toolbar (as well as some other browser extensions). Pagerank updates should have zero impact on traffic. Basically all that Google tells is one whole number 0-10 that is updated infrequently. But what they are using in their algorithm is updated all the time and it's thought to be a much higher degree of precision. So if an update comes and your pagerank drops, the actual drop might have happened months ago. There is no mass rearranging of sites whenever Google refreshes the toolbar pagerank.
Well nobody knows for sure, since it is somewhat random, but most would probably agree that google doesn't update twice within 3 months. Not pr wise anyways.
It use to be 'roughly' every 3 months but in recent years its become very erratic but as it does not carry the Kudos it once had i very rarely check these days infact i dont check at all.Its quality visitors that i require more than anything else as that is what produces me revenue not PR
Google update Pr following conditions:- (1)Check Domain Age (2)Strong Backlink (3)Website Design Attractive (4)Quality of Content on the Site (5)Website Load Speed
it usually change in 4 months once. No one can give you sharp answer while even Google employee also can't give a real time of it . These few months do have lot of google panda and google penguin update and cause lot of algorithm changes as well.
There is two google page ranks. The published PR this is updated four times a year but google missed the last one and there is the private pr that google uses internally. Anyway don't worry about the published PR. Worry about where you site is placed on your targeted keywords. Also if you are in a competitive space try targeting less used keywords. Its better being ranked no 1 in less used keywords than being rank 200 in the most popular keyword.
Used to be about 4 times a year. This has changed in the past 2 years or so where they've been doing it irregularly and almost at random. Yes, there seems to have been a PR update recently right with the Penguin and Panda updates on late April.
