    Hello,

I want to create a new website but I have some questions before I decide to start it.

I have a dedicated server hosted in Israel which is used for Israeli websites and Israeli visitors.

My new website is going to be something that it's audience is from all over the world.
So I guess it may create some problems of speed for some of my visitors and may have some effect on seo.

What do you recommend me to do?
Host on this dedicated server which located in Israel or buy shared hosting from hostgator and pay them monthly?

The easiest thing to do, since you already have a dedicated box, would be to utilize a content delivery network (CDN). That would take care of the speed problems. SEO is a joke anyway, so you don't need need to worry about that. Working on your site's content is the best way to improve your SEO. If all these SEO tools and techniques worked, everybody would be in the Top 10. We know that can't happen. You want to be in the top, you need to have a top site.

    Hello guys,
I do really appreciate your answers.

I would like you to refer to the first comment by WSWD.
Do you think it would be okay to do that?

Currently my goal is to minimize costs as possible until I can gain some revenues from this website which will cover my hosting costs.
I would like to hear more opinions.

    Best Regards,

The commenter of #6 and #8 has been copy and paste into alot of thread, don't you guy feel sick about it?

WSWD was right that you may consider to go with CDN and do remember to have the enough bandwidth to support on it.

Just to comment a little further: The benefits you are going to see from a CDN are improved speeds for your audience, if that's what you are worried about. They take your files/pages and deliver them via servers that are closer to the user, thus theoretically increasing speed and decreasing the load time.

That said, I'm guessing the speeds from Israel to wherever isn't going to be a deal breaker. Websites in Europe, for example, won't load as quickly here in the US, but it's generally just a couple seconds difference. Is that enough to matter to most people? Eh, probably not. Where you are going to see a bigger issue is in file downloads. Where a server in the US might saturate one of my server's ports, a server in Europe might only be 1/2 as fast. But for a simple website, the difference is really negligible.
