Free site search tool: no subdomains?

    It seems that the free site search tool doesn't search within my site's subdomains.

    Does anyone have a solution for this?

    That's no option because i've integrated the searchbox in my site's design. Google won't let you customize the look of the search box unless you're a premium publisher.
