you go and join some topsites lists submit your sites there and boot your topsites ranking by using some of autosurfing sites like http://freemillionautosurf.com. when you will get top in autosites your site will get more reviews .
By joining few topsites you can easily gets 3000+ clicks.....

 

... and next day you can't login to your adsense account and an email is waiting for you.

Just curious, what happens if your friends digg you and you end up on the digg.com index page? Is this a good way of getting traffic? How many diggs would you need to get on the index page of digg.com?

First you will need a lot of friends....

But even if you go to page #1, the digg traffic is not really converting.

I got in digg's first page twice and made about $30 each time, which is not really good for 50.000 visitors.

I noticed that you're running a SMF forum with revenue share enabled!! How did you do this? I've only found hacks for vbulletin.

I wouldn't do it.

 

Myspace traffic is much better. There are many "newbies" in myspace who will easilly click on ads or take actions in your site.

My forum is custom moded by me. I like to write my own modifications in order to have a unique web site. Some of them are posted in the forum.

The best way to get on digg's top list is to write about how Bush passes Gas while having Sex.

Nikolas is right... digg traffic does not convert well. Their users are too net savvy to click ads.

Have you done this or are you just considering it? Even if you could get away with it on google's end, I don't think it would work because I believe that toplist scripts are written in a way to not accept votes from that type of http referrer.

A better option, in my opinion, is to use something like that to build traffic months BEFORE you monetize your site, and once you have established a loyal reader base, THEN add adsense to your site.

 

TQ, that's good to know. But it's still free publicity right? Better than no publicity.

You can also get banned by serps for using toplists.

 

it's against google TOS to put your site in autosurfs.
