Please suggest.
You need to get quality links from high PR sites linking back to your site to push it up the rankings.
Every website thrives on traffic, and landing a top spot on Google means that you will need to figure out how to generate this traffic. You may want to use a website traffic generator tool to generate massive traffic and audience to your sites. Before long, you will sure be where you wanna be, n Google’s top spot!
at least 10 PR3 contextual links from the corresponding blog's HOMEPAGE (which MUST be a PR3 or higher) . Meaning , your anchor text ( Life Insurance UK) must be embedded within a unique article of the blog's HOMEPAGE, preferrably in the first paragraph of the article. Each PR3 blog MUST be on a different IP or hosted by a different web server , so that Google views each of these 10 backlinks as unique. DO NOT alter or diversify your KW phrase. I will assume you have already diversified anchor text or kw phrase linking via other means (?) blog comments, Wikis etc. if you follow this advice, you should at least be in spot 3 ( or higher) in 2-4 weeks For those questioning if blog networks still work? Very much so. even after the pandas and penguin...and yes even when big blog networks like buildmyrank'shave been de-indexed. You just need to know how to choose the blogs/networks...
In general, just create more backlinks by using the keyword (you want to rank for) as an anchor text, and also don't forget to create some more links by tweaking the anchor text little bit.
if you do that, then your ranking will be just 'in general' as well. it's a fairly competitive insurance keyword phrase. You can't be in the top spot by doing exactly what every john doe is doing after knowing about Penguin. I believe the OP wants to rank in page#1, no lower than spot#3. (which is where most of the organic traffic is)
Check the backlinks of your competitors. I would stress its about quality links, not quantity. Having 50 backlinks with the same anchor text doesn't cut it anymore. Making your content look naturally popular and valuable is the key to high rankings.
In regards to your first site, the keyword you are targeting does not appear anywhere on the page. I suggest adding the phrase to the site in an H1 tag once, then a couple more times to maintain a keyword density between 1 and 2 percent. You currently have less than 300 words on your homepage....try to bump this up to at least 500 and get the phrase 'life insurance uk' in there. The fact that you've managed to get to page one without having the term even mentioned on the page is a good accomplishment. In regards to your second site, again you need more content on the page while trying to maintain a keyword density of 1 to 2 percent for 'life insurance quotes'. Take care, Kevin
You will need to increase the amount of content on your site. Then make sure your one page SEO is done properly. Incorporate a strategic link building campaign that includes links that are relevant to your site, high quality and high PR links, with a godo mix of contextual and do follow. Very important also is to make sure you have a good link diversity.
Quality back links necessary for this time. Quality back links always helpful to gain ranking. So build only quality back links, dont create massive linking.
