I have started a new adult website.I am confused whether to continue with it or start some non adult website for money.I am expecting revenue from this website.Please suggest can adult website under alexa rank of 10,000 earn good income.( like in what range ???) Or should I concentrate on non adult website through which I can put google ads in it and get some revenue since in adult website I wont be able to put google ads. For a non adult website I am expecting to make it in under 30,000 to 20,000 alexa rank in one years time but for adult website I can make it under 10,000 alexa rank or lesser in same time period(also content is easily available and less effort required compared to other websites). Also, its basically a forum and mostly be user driven when it starts getting enough traffic.It will only have stories and pics mostly.And I rely completely on advertising and no paid membership or stuff for revenue.I will also add only after 3-4 months of website build up. dont know, the adult area is kind of crowded, there are the big ones and people dont really change it up do they? as for software site, that might be taken down depending on your host, tech blog is very crowded so i would say give it a few months, work hard and see what happens
Regarding software website, it will have only links to the original content owner and details of the software.There are such kinds of websites in internet which directs user to the original website.So, there is no problem related to illegal hosting or piracy.
One of the biggest things I would suggest is google adult web site forums. That is a start . There is a zillion adult sites out there so if you could find forum boards on adult website umm producers, or even google adult website partners wanted stuff of that nature that might produce leads and by leads I mean be able to go there ask questions about starting a adult website and maybe you will get lucky and someone that knows something and is COMPETENT in that field answers you with some good stuff. Just an idea.
Try and make it more niche, so if you want adult, find a niche element to target thats popular for the forum.
