Haha it is. Awesome, I appreciate it but no rush. Do what you gotta do first if you're busy. Would love to see the short film too, took a lot of film classes in college and love shorts but never got to get into it like I wanted.
A band doesn't receive traffic from search engines, backlinks etc. A bands traffic are it's fans. Fans must be earned. To earn fans you must offer something that greatly interests someone. That starts by being heard. All you can do for him is to get his music out there. Successful local bands see a following offline way before they notice a following online. If he can't gather followers in real life 1. his music sucks or is not a popular genre or 2. he doesn't perform gigs. Btw...I have heard many great songs by amateurs on YouTube.... And they have many views because the content is good. Very rarely do I come across a good song with little to no views unless the video is crap or the title and thumbnail is off.
