    I think from all these comments magento is definitely your best option. Although I find Oscommerce very good too and easier to use the admin panel

    I wouldn't see there's a "best" ecommerce frame work. Every one has different needs and those needs will determine which ecommerce solution is best for them. However, there are some basic things I look for when shopping for an ecommerce frame work and they are as follows.
