    Well, I've been thinking so when posting, but you are the first one to react, so maybe we are both wrong :D

    No, it's only because most people are just waking up over here, they haven't had time to read it yet or let it register ;)

    wew.... so we only have to submit out sitemaps to sitemaps.org and get crawled by that three SE?

    btw, I just tried Yahoo site explorer, I see no option to submit sitemaps, but I see "Add Feed". Is this the same? And in what format should I submit?

    You can submit Sitemaps to Yahoo! Search through Site Explorer, just like you could add RSS feeds up to now. Just add the site to which the feed belongs, to your list of sites, and then add the feed for that site. We will retrieve the sitemap and use the data you provide us.

    Yes that's great news. This will reduce a lot of additional work regarding sitemaps. In future as well we should expect these three major SE to work collectively. The only concern is if they adopt a similar policy for Black hat SEO as well then what?

    Thanks for sharing. Would this mean I have to modify my Google SiteMap as the existing one uses:

    <urlset
    xmlns="http://www.google.com/schemas/sitemap/0.84"
    xmlns:xsi="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema-instance"
    xsi:schemaLocation="http://www.google.com/schemas/sitemap/0.84
    http://www.google.com/schemas/sitemap/0.84/sitemap.xsd">

    Anyone???
