What are the chances of getting paid?

I have a high x,xxx balance in my YPN account, and it was terminated. Just curious what are my chances of actually getting the money? Also how long does it take?

I'd say just like Google, slim to none.

Hmm so you were terminated yesterday. What was the cause BTW?

You will get your balance minus invalid clicks. Invalid clicks can incluse those
    from outside the US.

Yahoo does pay terminated publishers though.

    Glad to hear it.

I am curious also, do you know exactly why your account was terminated?

If it wasn't due to click fraud or anything like that, you should get paid at the end of the month when everyone else does.

So its the normal pay date in December? For this past month? What's the 90 day thing all about.

And to everyone else, they said one of my sites "wasn't unique content"

I too was just recently terminated from Yahoo and they said the exact same thing. My content was not unique. I did use ezinearticles throughout my sites but that is lame. I'm in the same boat with you, I've got x,xxx in my account as well.

Here's the real kicker...I emailed them through their support system a week ago and I did not hear back as to why I was banned. NOTHING. When you log on to the account its states, "you've been suspended or terminated and details have been sent via email". Needless to say, I NEVER got an email.

So I called after waiting 3 days and the guy on the line said it was unique content crap. Then proceeded to tell me the "other" team will reply back to my inquiry with more detail. Its now been a full 13 days and I still have not gotten a reply.

I was on my was on my way to 9k this month....shi*, if they would have told me about 'unique content' I would have hired a f'n writer full time.

hhhmm...9K to me...probably 30K to yahoo...yeah that was a smart move....their loss, theres a lot more programs out there than YPN.

Yahoo makes money form advertisers not publishers, they didn't really loose much money by terminating your account as the ads will appear on other sites in your sites place. If anything they probably are better off because your site was not converting well, they could care less about unique content if you had a smilie face on your page but every guy that clicked a mesothelioma ad hired a lawyer I can guarantee that nobody would be complaining. They probably were seeing low conversion rates and just needed an excuse to get rid of your site.

I'm not on anyones side here just stating my opinions.

I disagree. I find it odd that in one week two acounts were terminated b/c of "unique content". If arigold never would have said anything about 'unique content' I wouldn't have been posting my info. I find it odd that this is one of their stipulations all of a sudden.
I think if Yahoo finds that conversions are low then they'll say it. Yahoo doesn't need to give an excuse to terminate an account for bad conversions.

i agree, they have sent the low quality traffic email many times. it seems they go through phases in their terminations. first it was international traffic (dont hear that one anymore), then it was low quality traffic and now we are hearing about non-unique content terminations.

It seems like they just wanted a reason to get rid of me...I got another email back after emailing them...

    Hello ?!?!??!,

As part of our efforts to ensure high-quality traffic for our advertisers, we continuously monitor publisher accounts, revenue and attributes. Your account has been reviewed carefully, and while we appreciate your participation, we cannot reinstate your account during the beta period.

When evaluating publisher quality, we consider various factors, including sources of traffic, conversion metrics and advertiser feedback. We have determined that your traffic has not produced the level of quality we are striving to achieve within the beta period of this product. Please note that our conversion and quality metrics are considered proprietary by Yahoo!, and will not be disclosed.

Thank you for your understanding and participation in the program. Please understand that this decision is final and will not be considered for appeal.

    -------

So first I didn't have unique content, now its the quality of my traffic?

Should I email them back, and be like I thought it was my content? I'd rather stay on there good side and get the $x,xxx in my account.

Sounds like advertisers were not seeing conversions then. Keeping advertisers is much more important to them than keeping publishers. I'm sure we only make up about 40% of the income yahoo gets from advertisers and the rest come from yahoo search.

A lot of publishers getting canned since the last payday

This traffic quality thing sounds similar to invalid clicks reason given by google with regards to account terminations. It is vague and can mean many things. And not a whole lot you can do about it but be try to careful as possible.
