Cloud storage is all well and good but having a physical drive to pop in whenever you feel like it (heck, in the middle of the ocean) is still way more convenient for me. So yes, I do own one.
I feel like most people would. Not really a replacement. I have like 6. And I am thinking about getting another one.
More then 6 USB Flash drive?? What the purpose of using so many USBs? I have 2 USB flash drives, specially for transferring my music files and data easily.
I used them a lot in high school and in college. They used to give them out for free in some of my classes. The classes graduating after my year are going to get DropBox space (I think that they'll be getting extra space as part of an agreement with the university). DropBox, repositories, etc. are very useful, but I still use USB sticks and external hard drives for backups and in cases where a computer doesn't have the software installed, I don't feel safe entering my password, etc..
I have 2 that use for my TV, 1 on my keychain (emergency/docs), 1 in my backpack (clone of my keychain), 1 in my office that I use for transferring from PC to PC when my network craps itself, and at least another 2 floating around the house somewhere.
Thanks for your valuable response to me . Well, personally I have only 2 USBs which are in use. In past I save my data backups on another USB, but after launching Google drive, I'm quite bit relax. Did you try to keep your data and files on this Google tool yet? If yes then, its really beneficial to you as like me?
Definitely! I almost exclusively use it for carrying files around with me on the go. But it's becoming frequently less these days where I carry my laptop around from time to time.
