I think yesterday was an extremely good day for me in regards to adsense revenue intake. I made $13 from 43 clicks, with 6000 impressions in the gaming news niche.
This is considered a good day for you? Your CTR is around .7. This is considered extremely low for most people on these forums. Congrats though on the earnings. I am glad that you had a good day with AdSense.
it could be different from others but that is a little amount of click for the number of impressions -.- ps : it is best if you not show the amount fo clicks per impressions etc... it is against Google TOS
If you can made $13 from 43 clicks the you can scale up your effort for the Adsense in the game niche.
maybe because he select target keywords that is low in CPC, unlike debt, hosting, finance, health niche..
Yes, probably you got a big click and that made the CPC goes higher than usual in the gaming news niche. As for CTR it is very low, but perhaps it's normal in gaming news niche since you're probably getting a too technical audience, one who knows about adsense, that's why it is advised on those sites to use image ads, at least that's what I gathered. Otherwise for me yesterday was a very correct day, I got more than my minimum I want.
What are people's thoughts on ad placement? (all image ads) inside post is the sqaure 336x280 ad and the sidebar is the 250x300 sqaure ad James is spot on. Yes, the site is in the gaming niche and I guess the visitors that come to the site are quite technical indeed. hence the low CTR. Well to my surprised. Today so far and it's only 2:40pm I have virtually broke yesterday's record of revenue. I've made $13 with 42 clicks, and 5300 impressions. And yes, all of the ads on the site are all image ads.
try working on getting more European visitors to the site. the left ad is 336x280 and it has so far paid 4.00 so far today, it's made the most. I think i'll move it into the middle tommorrow morning.
Yeah.. do not satisfy easily with ad placement... i have only 2 ad unit on my site.. and my ctr is between 1%-11%... also it is a credit niche with 2k impressions daily... estimate how much earning I have
that Is true, I should be statisifed with ad placement.. I should be striving to make as much as possible . How much are you earning, i am intrigued.
try test & tweak for best ctr.. what work for mine (square box at the middle) and (square box at right hand side... on the line of fold) might not work to other person also..
