Hi, I was thinking to promote a few product from CJ. However, I'd like to hear your opinion on how the products from CJ performing for you now? I used to promote CJ, but left it for CB due to absurd support.
CJ is a big network... and I'm sure there are plenty of ways to earn a nice income. Personally, I stick to smaller, more niche-specific networks since the support is normally better -- and the commission rates are usually higher
CJ is really easy to work with but you need to do your research and promote offers that convert. Careful planning and research is required, then you go into the CJ database and choose those offers. I do get regular updates from the companies I promote so overall, very cool.
Not good for me, just had my account status to "Deactivated" a few weeks back. They are being biased with people from specific countries.
Hi I have a silly question probability, I have joined CJ on April 15 and in April I made $30 but now in May until May 10(yesterday), I made about 300$, my silly question is if the money will be locked(because until now 11.May it was not locked or extended) and eventually paid until May 20 or I will wait to be paid next month? Please respond.
The commissions you made in April will be locked this month, probably between 10th to 13th of this month. But for the commissions you made between 1st May to 31st May, they will be locked in the month of June. Which means, the commissions you made from 1st May until now is due on June. If you haven't crossed the threshold of $100 in the month of April, you will not get paid this month. All the commissions ($30 as you stated for April) will be rolled over to next month (June) and you will get the April + May commissions paid out to you in June, all in one payment. Hope this answers your question.
Nice! helmuc, you really have the potential to make a difference at performing on CJ. It happens sometimes that you only have 20 clicks with a sale in it. And sometimes, it can take a thousand clicks to get a single sale. Hope you get one soon.
tx Duke... just i'm stuck on £19 already for 2 months :/ thousand clicks? ... hummm what would I earn with 1k clicks with adsense?
Haha yes right! We the affiliate publishers are not always that lucky you know. Either we can hit a jackpot, or we go without any revenue at all. AdSense is a MUST win situation if you have good amount of generic traffic.
Awee! That sucks. Conversions on CJ products, I donno why, is a headache. You could easily have one or two sales on CB or Amazon products.
I agree that Adsense is the best option, but in my case (free classifieds) I allow to publish escort ads - but Adsense doesn't allow to publish their ads at sites that contain (even partly) adult related images and links. ..
Aahh, that's a pain then. AdSense surely does disallow any adult content, or any content that is even a little bit related to adultery. Commission Junction for affiliate based programs is by far one of the best right now. Alternatively, why don't you give a try to Chitika? I heard from my friends that it is also a good Advertising network, don't know about their policies but you just gotta read their Terms & Conditions; you should read them because of your trouble in content for AdSense. You might be lucky.
Have not had any conversions with CJ, but I am just getting started and do not have much traffic. The companies supply updated promotions - seasonal, free shipping, etc. that make for effective ads. Very easy to use. Just need traffic and conversions!
They are a huge network and you can pretty much find anything to promote on their site. The only downfall I would say is that commission isn't that high unless you find expensive products to promote.
Not only are they huge, but have great customer service. I once had a sale through a printing link that was $1,300 commission which the company they rejected for reasons I didnt understand. CJ fought for me and got them to give me $1,000. I never got an explanation as to why it went down, but they helped tremendously.
