I'm confused about "Too many broken links (404 links)" because in webmaster tools it is mentioned by google that 404 not affect your search result performance.

 

After penguin update Google has made few things very straight to SEO experts and are definitly part of our SEO strategy-

-Use natural link building process ( Follow White hat seo technique)
-Avoid generating backlinks from low quality and irrelevant website with the purpose of increasing PR and keyword rankings
-Use of diverse anchor text
-Avoid using duplicate contents
-Avoid Keyword stuffing

I hope most of the SEO experts agree on these.

 

Avoid spammy comments when you want to build links. Google Penguin basically catches spammy content and just negate the links that you build.

 

All the same as before but with unique and quality content

 

Building high quality links. Don't use any automated backlinking software. Create high quality content with. Make sure you spell check and do proper on page optimization. and do NOT forget that you should have BOTH do-follow and no-follow backlinks, because this is a natural link building strategy

 

Focus only on acquiring quality backlinks.From pages that have PR and that are highly or only relevant to your site niche.

I think we should make fresh content frequently, get quality backlinks from high rank site, not using spam method
