Hi, I was wondering what is the average/good/poor click rate on google ads on your site? As for example , I have a click rate of 0,7% and it does not seems so good for me. Or it is good enough?
It is not good no. I always aim for a minimum of 5% but on some english sites it's impossible for me to reach. On some french sites I have around 20% CTR no problem, the exact same ad placement on an english site and it's back to 3/4% sad
For insurance/mortgage/banking/trading related niches you can get up to 20$ per click. All depends on traffic if it is coming from US/Canada/Europe, etc.
That's no standard rate, the higher the better. 0.7% CTR considered low, you can actually focus on improving your CTR
Different design colors maybe? Anyway +5% minimum is already good but 20% is quite insane for the average adsense users.
Yes it's insane but performs over and over since 3 years.. plus with a CPC a little over $0.1 it makes for a very nice RPM. I wish all my sites performed like that! About the "normal" ctr in french sites and english sites, the colors are the same, theme of site is the same.. Perhaps ads are less appealing in english or users are getting used to adsense more than french users, don't know, but it's a pity because often english CPC is better.
it might be two problems keywords or relevant ads. if keywords okay then might be problem with adsense cralwer can't crawl your webpages properly thats why relevant ads not appear on you site and CTR/ CPC low. You need to check, access and authorization > access crawler, if error found there this might be problem. fix them. reply found or not thanks
you know what i average 1.3% but i had one day when I had 20% ctr. I use an adsense theme as they are built for decent ctr conversion. Like someone said it depends on the type of content as well. Some topics are perfect for users to read your info then go on and click a link selling a product related to that.A lot of forward thinking has to be done before developing your site
The average CTR on standard sites is 1-3%. With MNS it's usually much higher 10-25%. Yours is a little below average. Sometimes a simple replacin of the ads in the visitors heatmap will raise the CTR.
