Why dont adsense show ads all the time?

Sometimes when i check my website, i find out that out of all three ads placed, one shows regularly but the other two shows only sometimes. This leaves their spaces blank. This two are skyscraper banners. Is that the reason this happens?

most likely they couldnt find enough relevant publisher for the page.
usually this happens with new pages.

    This is a common problem...
On my blog only 70-80% of the pageviews show all the adsense blocks...

Sometimes there are problems with the browsers, cache memory etc...

Remove your browser cookies, use a proxy and then check your website. This should work.

A couple ofthings I would check are the CTR and keywords you are targetting on each page you display Adsense.
Google will try to place ads to get the best perrfomance for their customers using Adwords.
If you have a lower CTR than other sites targetting the same keywords and displaying Adsense ad units.

Are you a new adsense publisher? If so, it takes time for your ads to get displayed.

I've never seen these problems on either of my sites even when they were new. Ads were displayed about 5 minutes after first including the Adsense code. There might be another problem at work here. Perhaps a small coding error.

It could happen due to any of the following reasons:
    1) The adsense code on the home page is broken - Try copy and pasting adsense code in your home page once again.
    2) Some of your site platform plugins might be blocking adsense ads on your home page.
    3) You might be blocking adsense ads from displaying in the home page - Check in your adsense account.

Try to inform the adsense support forum. You should get a solution quickly.
