Great work ...... i appreciate you for your hard work... at the same time there is a problem as well.......Let me explain... Generally when we click on the dynamic content we expect a new window to get opened .....but that is nt happening here...instead that link in getting opened in the same window(which i dont like coz i dont want my visitors to get out of my site completly)... Is there any tweak or additional code to be inserted so that all the links will get opened in a seperate window?? regards, boon
I am using http://www.articletrader.com/feeds/using-rss-feeds/ I wanted it on my right side where it said thai news now www.bangkokflowershop.com But i could not change the layout that much is it possible. Besides that it working very good.
can i incorprate the abve code in a html file or should it be a php file with a link pointing to it..
it's a great program i'd like to use on my site as well. I am wondering about that too..I wish someone would answer that question.. eg. a simple php hello world [hello.php] : <html> <body> <?php echo "Hello World"; ?> </body> </html> Code (markup): doesn't give me an 'hello world' when pasted anywhere in my webpage. I tried an include <?php include("hello.php"); ?> Code (markup): didn't work either. Sorry for being off topic and such a newbie but any help with that would allow use of Ysf1's great Rss display code. EDIT: Yes, my webserver is PHP enabled
Don't take offense, but did you change the file extension to .php? so instead of filename.html, it would be filename.php ? The example you showed should work. Morty
i know the thread ended a while ago, just found it and ' and other special characters appear as ’ ;. How do i stop that?
Hello, Folk, I am very new to RSS and really need to know how to use it. What I want to do is the following, Display the 10 most recent posts from about 30 wp blogs on my site home page (non-wp). Have the most recent always on top and have it refresh the list everytime the page is loaded. I would like it to display something like this. <--Post Title--> <--Blog Title--> I have read through much of this post but I can't seem to make heads or tail of it. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
I have two questions. Perhaps someone could help me. 1) I want to set up two different RSS feeds on the same page. I set up one and it works fine, but when I set up the second the page doesn't display and I get an error: Fatal error: Cannot redeclare startelement() (previously declared in /home/collegec/public_html/testmain.php:121) in /home/collegec/public_html/testmain.php on line 193 2) Is it possible to shorten the description portion of the rss feed to only a certain number of characters? Thanks.
I would really appreciate if any body can tell me how i can use rss feed to display fresh data from other sites...i am totally confused and don't know programming..
would someone be willing to create a small site with as many rotating feeds as possible related to hillary clinton. I would be willing to pay a small amount i dont expect it would take to much work. Just be sure to put url of presedenthillaryclinton.com on the top I just need the code to paste onto my free hosting account.
I am using feedburner... i dont understand the difference between straight feed and rotating feed.. can you show some example? --Thanks...
I also use feedburner, which gives you the code for your blog/site feeds to insert in webpages. Or is this about using someone else's RSS feed to create content on your site?
