Shared IP or Dedicated IP

    Does it make any difference?

    Hosting: GoDaddy
    Shared IP with 500 unknown websites (some of them might be porn, casino or other bad neighborhood sites)

    or

    Hosting: GoDaddy
    Dedicated IP assigned specifically for your own site, no other sites under your IP

    Does it make any difference in SEO?

    No linking each other - no different. Google very rarely banned IPs.

    What about linking between sites on the same IP? Is that an issue?

    Getting links from different class c links will give you more juice for ranking. And it looks for more natural than getting most of your links from one shared IP.

    I don't think it matters...I interlink sites all the time.

    It only matters if you are going to link to your sites from others 400 sites...:)
