Fiverr does indeed help a lot. But why not try investing on adwords as well if you are doing a business site?

For me investing in SEO, is would be a far better option than adwords. Yes, I do use PPC but for that I use Adcenter as the competition is low and I can directly link to my affiliate site.

How can you say content is redundant? That's ridiculous and Penguin has made quality content even more important. Whether it's on your own site or the sites linking to you.

Good strategy to rank a site/ page at Google.

I think that this way works for any keywords with low competition.

Thats why I believe outsourcing it to quality writers would be a better option...moreover, since buying content is so cheap i.e. like 5$ per article, it gives me a good ROI.

That makes much more sense! The Penguin update has now given true meaning to the phrase "Content is King". I outsource content writing as well when the topic bores me, although sometimes the quality is terrible. For example, iWriter. I've had one good article, but only by offering it to the Premium writers. A guy on another forum has a good writer I use, but for one topic/site. Don't tell me you outsource to Fiver? :-P

I would NEVER outsource my content to fiverr....

what I do is, I find some local college friends of mine who are pretty good at writing and language and need money. I tell them the exact steps how they have to researhc the content, formulate points and optimize each article for SEO. So, it's more of an inhouse thing...

They barely charge 5$ an hour, so I get an article for around 3$, which I would have easily bought for 10$ from freelancer.com or odesk. They're just happy on seeing their "artilces" on the internet. :p

The teaching part takes around an hour or so, but it's worth the price. :)

I reward them by increasing their pay every month...:p Still saves me money...hehe

Well for competitive keywords, I generally mix up multiple gigs from the same providers.....coz these obviously aren't enough links...

But yes, with just 5 gigs of #1, 2 gigs of #2 and 2 gigs of #4...I was able to rank in top 3 for a keyword that gets around 60k per month....the keyword can be considered medium-high competition, it's education related and is monetized via adsense...The whole process took around 1 month to get my site ranked.

I used #4 to build links to all my internal pages, thus I'm getting traffic for some long term keywords too...

that's good, anyone who's not using fiverr is really missing out great deals. at fiverr you can really get $5 service worth $100.

I'm going to test it out for one of my sites I don't care about. I have a feeling that one of those is your service (probably #4). #2 is absolutely ridiculous.

Still, it will be fun to see what such a spammy link profile can do in the Penguin and Panda era.

lol...I have gt better jobs than this...anyways, I use the wiki links only for internal pages and backlinking my backlinks.

And well, dunno why but social bookmarks give me a positive feedback, I'm too lazy to use Bookmarking Demon. :p
