If I have 2 (or more) domains with 1 hosting account, can I SEO both sites?

with shared hosting? no, shared allows you to have one domain per account (unless you got an expensive shared)
but SEO is possible on any website

You can have multiple domains on one shared hosting account easily with addon domains.

If you want to host one domain on godaddy you need one hosting account. If you want to host another domain, you will have to pay for second hosting account.

You can seo any domain. It doesn't depends on the hosting or godaddy.

Answer is yes. google openly declares that IP does not matter.

Normally the question should be if you have 2 sites hosted under the same IP then is there any SEO issues ;)

Go ahead it does not matter ;)

do you know what SEO is, i don't understand this.
Godaddy only allows one "live" site per hosting account.
your site must be "live" to SEO it.
so with godaddy, no it is not possible to SEO more than one site per hosting account (because you can only have one live site and a site must be live for it to be SEO'd)

I lost track of this thread a while ago

yes you can SEO any domain under any hosting, so with limited information the answer is yes you can SEO 2 sites on one server.

if the websites are about the same thing I would say no, don't have two different sites have one as it is quite difficult to say the same thing twice and it be completely unique (and if you can, you might as well just make one site and do even betterer) :) and also it will be easier for link building to concentrate on one site.

If they are different to each other then seperate sites is best

    HTH :)

Actually this isn't completely accurate. It depends on your godaddy hosting plan. Addon domains are not possible on the economy plan, but unlimited domains can be added on to their deluxe and above plans.

You just have to make sure you Enable Hosting Configuration 2.0 on the plan. I have a few accounts there and just discovered this recently. They don't publicize it much, but it's there. I'm currently on hosting confiruation 1.0, so I'm going to upgrade to 2.0 so I can merge a couple of my plans. For the price they seem to have very generous space and bandwidth limits compared to a few other hosting cos I've researched.

I am rather confused here. Most SEO experts, are familiar with how hosting and domains work. How can you be unsure, but yet so sure of SEO?
