recently just sign up moneybookers

    I've just signed up and verified my account, can i now let someone send payment to my account even when I haven't add a bank account or credit card?

    yes you can but you cant withdraw money until you verify your account.

    I am not sure have I understand this question wrongly, but it is not so easy to receive money on moneybookers. I am going to sell some ad space from my site and use moneybookers business account for that. I just can't use it before moneybookers have checked that my site is ok. At the moment they have give me a list which parts I should add to my site so I could use moneybookers to receiving payments. Those are the rules for business account, maybe it is different for private accounts.

    It's very different when you want to use business account and merchant tools enabled. They are very strict about this and require alot of things such as terms and tos, privacy policy and refund policy to be as they want. also require you fully functional website already selling, and i don't remember what else. For me it took me almost 1 month to get my merchant account enabled and lot of emails exchanged and i had to call them 3-4 times.

    For personal account i don't know now but when i activated mine i was able to receive money instantly from other members but to upload funds and withdraw i had to scan and send them my id and they sent me letter with pin number to my home address which i verify and completely unlock account.

    You should verify your account first. then obviously you can send or receive money as well.
