    It's a simple questions but the solution is not always as simple. There many variables, like keyword competition, niche competition, current top ranking websites and how good quality your domain is... EMD does help but it's not a must have.

    You will also need to ensure that on page seo is done properly and that your content 100% unique, quality content that is relevant to the search terms you want to rank for. Your off page SEO or backlinks needs to come from a wide and diverse range of sources whilst also remaining contextual, relevant and high quality. The old days of back link blasting are over... it's all about quality quality quality...

    Most of the answers around here are going to push for low quality links with spun content, which is the last type of link you want to be directing toward your site. I'd start off with high quality stuff. Guest posts on relevant high PR blogs. Once you've built up a base in your links, you could work in some social bookmarks and high quality web 2.0 pages. The idea here is to score quality links, not thousands of spam ones. One quality link can be equal to hundreds, even thousands of spam ones.

    I'm also updated with many article, Content is very much important also Google give more importance for the Content. In this content part I'm getting lots of doubt. can you help me?
    if i have updated with quality content to mine website, but mine site is not getting crawled from Google, in between the days some of them copied mine content and paste to other websites they getting crawled from Google.

    Now mine question is, after some days mine site is crawled from Google. So Now how Google will consider mine is duplicate or copied person content is duplicate?
