It is a algorithm update to check spam content and link farming to enhance the ranking of keywords in search engine result pages.

Google has updated its ranking algorithm again. This time around, they are focusing most heavily on penalizing sites that use “over-optimization” and sneaky web spam tactics to generate links. The official name is “the Penguin Update.” Coming on the heels of the latest “Panda Update,” Penguin is a more fine-tuned version that is targeting those that are violating Google’s quality guidelines.

Those of us who don’t rely on outdated, spammy tactics don’t have much to worry about. The update is mainly affecting websites that have little to no quality content, and are abusing inbound linking strategies in order to game the system and get undeserved traffic.

If your are building fresh and quality content in link building and in the description of website than you not to worry about latest updates of Google. And on the other hand if you are affected by this try to remove spam links from low page rank websites.

If your site is legit, then there is nothing to worry about.

Not sure about the spam site though.

It's funny how you're answering to yourself. No offense, but clearly this is a spam comment.

While I was reading posts and comments in this forum, it seems like Google Penguin just got nastier than Google's last update. The number of websites that have been slapped has raised. Clearly, we have to set the bar higher for newer and better strategies.

good sites also lost positions on first pages.

the web is not a better place now, there are still spam sites.

but who cares? this move will make google richer because now people will pay more on adwords to get traffic.

Just need to say for now , The quality content is King and the quality Link is Queen . So do respect your King and Queen and don,t try to make spams on the name of KING and QUEEN :)

I have been maintaining lots of websites from past 2-3 years . But not a single website got effected on these updates . The resolution is only that just follow up with Green content and Blue back links . Wishing best of luck to everybody for upcoming PR update .
